Caesium suboxides
Two suboxides have been isolated, Cs7O, a bronze-coloured solid, melting at 3° C.; and Cs7O2, long prisms of permanganate colour. Both are formed by fusion of the monoxide with caesium, the fusion-curve indicating the existence of two other suboxides, Cs4O and Cs3O.
